My cat Tiffy is a bread fiend- she'll chew through the bag to get to a decent loaf, and if you start and one end of a naan bread she'll start at the other so you meet in the middle.

My old man cat Tetley was addicted to strong garlicky flavours, and would steal any amount of garlic mushrooms given the odd millisecond to swipe them off the plate (or out of the frying pan).

I've also just found out that Molly is a human food addict with no manners, who will take advantage of any momentary lapse of attention to send her huge pink tongue to clear your plate. She's just made the mistake of trying to nick my thai prawn curry and has found herself out in the garden in the dark as a punishment (I can hear the whining even over the TV).

What strange (and undesirable) things does your pet do, and how have you taught them the error of their ways?

Since we got Lilly I don't even know what a Saturday/Sunday lie in feels like anymore seeing as she whines constantly and tries to jump in the bed when she thinks we should be up. She also has to stick her nose right next to your mouth when you've just eaten something nice (especially chocolate) and smell your breath. Very embarassing when you have guests over and we have to ask what they've eaten today so we can explain why the dog is obsessed with their breath!

With the new kitten we've had for a few days I've literally inherited fleas. Lots of them. Ergh!

Interesting- Alfie the barmy bengal loves bread and will chew thro any plastic bag to get at the contents, however uninteresting they are- we have to put shopping away immediately we get home. He has a thing about bubble wrap, cardboard, paper and wooden venetian blinds too. Oh and light switch and blind cord.

Aero prefers dog biscuits and doggie chews to cat food. All the cats (n dog) are partial to fish n chips- we used to have a cat that ate chilli con carne - another cat loved doughnuts and steamed brocolli and the gerbils are very fond of Mcvities digestives...

Awwwww- poor Molly Moo. I've allowed her to come in now and she's gone upstairs to sulk by washing the kittens.

She's still not getting any curry though.
