Anyone got a clue ? Bago 21-07-2007, 19:30 It can range from 50-100s. Depending on what you want, and how intricate a design, and how heavy the cake is. Why not just ring around for quotes? Ask them what type they do. What is the minimum weight they do. How long it will take etc. You can get a wide range from: - Cup cakes - placed into a design - Traditional cakes with icing - victoria sponge type filling - Traditional cake with icing - fruit cake inside - Cream cakes - with sponge and fruit fillings - Other continental type like those found in coffee shops etc... Don't be afraid to ask around proper wedding cake makers or ask around coffee shops of actual cake makers who may make cakes as a side order. Thanks for replying xx Lisa*Marie* 03-09-2007, 20:03 We had our cake done by the cake booth & it was fantastic - we had a fun one - it was a bed with the bride in it and the groom at the bottom passed out holding a pint! that cost £250. We found them very reasonable - our cake however they was stopping doing as very time consuming but they are a very friendly couple would highly recommend them |
