It looks as though the domination of World Darts by British players is under threat. There seems to be an army of very good Dutch players at every big competition and getting through to quarter and semi-finals. It has probably helped having the internal bickering going on within the sport.

I like Co Stompe (Dutch player). he looks like a Nazi scientist, and doubles as a tram driver in Amsterdam. Everytime I visit the Dam, I spend most of the time looking thru the front of trams to try and spot Co at the helm.

He also has a cracking name. Don't forget young Klaasen and Van Gerwen either. There are a lot more young Dutch prospects than British.

My personal fave is prolly Ted Hankey, love how seriously he takes his Vampir image, throwing plastic bats into the crowd and all that.
