I am doing some research on soap operas as part of a Masters and I am looking for people to take part in a focus group on Eastenders. I need people who watch EE, either regularly or occasionally, of any age/sex/race.

The groups will be taking place in Broomhill on Wednesday July 25, 7:30pm and Saturday July 28, 3pm. You will be asked to watch an episode of the soap and discuss some questions relating to this, and to EE and soaps in general. The sessions will last between 1hr and 90 minutes (depending on how talkative everyone is!)

I can't afford to pay you or reimburse fees but there will be free tea, coffee, squash and nibbles!

60-90 minutes. That's not torture, I have had to watch the omnibus every week for the duration of the study! It hasn't been much fun!

If you're really stuck, hon, and you need an extra body, I mostly have been watching it sundays for the last few months, I can do the Wednesday night, Saturday aft is no good for me cos I'll be at the shop.

The peril of getting a TV after a few years abstinence is that you are totally undiscriminating in your viewing ... I've even become hooked on BB after managing to avoid it for 6 years :rolleyes:
