Hi All,

I was recently out in Sheffield, and my friend took me to see a new Sheffield artist called Paul Fletcher play live at the Boardwalk, and he was brilliant. His music was chiled and relaxing, but nobody seems to no much about him. I was wandering if anybody knows anything about him. I have found a link to a website that has one of his songs on, but apart from that nothing. Please help me......?? I have attached the link so you can hear him. From what i can gather this is a demo, but it still sound so sweet and lovely.

If you have any ideas how I could find out more, please get back to me, soon!

Other people must have heard of him,

Never heard of him, but great bands often play at the boardwalk. I wish they would promote the place better though.

Are all good sheffield music websites.
Check out the band links and forums. I've not heard of Paul Fletcher but I will keep a look out for him.

Hi, yes the boardwalk is a great place to go for live music. We were blown away by the acts they had on the bill that night. I thought the great thing about Paul Fletcher was he only had an acoustic guitar and he kept people attention for 5 songs. They were beautifully thought about as well. Strange nobody has heard of him. I will continue my hunt thoughh, as this guy was amazing.

Obvious (cynical) question - are you a friend of his? The tactic of asking people if they've heard of someone is a classic technique. I don't mind either way, but perhaps you could clarify the situation...

Hi Geoff,

Very Cynical, but I can see where your comin' from. No I don't know him, and nobody else seems to either, as I haven't really had much feedback.

Maybe I just dream't it. He played with another guy who was equally as good, but I didn't catch his name.

Well you have to try don't you, it was just my kind of music.
