I have a group of mates heading up to Sheffield this weekend for the second half of a stag-do celebration for one of them, and as part of the “festivities” the stag would like to pay a visit to Spearmint Rhino at some point over the evening.
Having never been there myself I was wondering if they have a particularly strict dress code/entrance policy? I realise I’d probably get short shrift from the doormen if I rolled up wearing my battered vans and a pair of ripped jeans, but how “dressed up” do they expect people to be? I’ve been to similar establishments that aren’t in Sheffield (though never an actual spearmint rhino), and the dress code has varied from “suited & booted only” to letting pretty much anyone in regardless of what they’re wearing...
When I go I generally have jeans, shoes, shirt. As do the vast majority. Smart casual you could call it.
I have seen people in trainers, but not at weekends.
Its deffo not a suited and booted only place. But I wouldn't go looking like you've just finished work.....
Try phoning up b4 you go, be cheeky and ask if they could let you have some entry tickets. I've known them do it before and it'd save you a tenner each.

the dress code is pretty relaxed although obviously you need to look smart, when i went in most guys had a good pair of jeans and a nice shirt/polo some of the men did have suit's/trousers but i wouldn't have said that that was the actual dress code... Hope this helps!
P.S. i went with my mates not too long back and we had a fab time, the girls are very good! :D

No, they only go in when they are off duty.
