View Full Version : Press conference announced for friday CorkerSWFC 18-07-2007, 11:19 This is regarding the takeover, its at 2pm friday fingers crossed lads and lasses.:):):):) ReginaldD 18-07-2007, 11:23 I think you must have posted at the same time as me. There is already a thread for things such as this, this being the owls takeover thread. Probably best it's all kept togther then everyone can see how talks have progressed from the first initial reports in The Star. CorkerSWFC 18-07-2007, 19:33 I would if threads didn't get hijacked all the time. Lestat 18-07-2007, 21:41 Heres hoping it's the news we've all been waiting for! C'mon Wednesday! CorkerSWFC 18-07-2007, 22:20 From what ive read it looks like talks have broke down a couple of days ago, and the press conference is more of an explanation to why they have (yet again). We are actually quite a good investment if someone is looking for a football club. We may be in decent amount of debt, but it's manageable debt, we actually own Hillsborough and our training ground unlike some clubs. Furthermore we have a large following, any investor would know even whilst in the championship we are almost guaranteed to have average attendances of 23,000+. The real problem is the way the shares are spread out. If Dave Allen and the board owned the majority of the shares we would have been taken-over many moons ago. |
