We have a lovely male cat who is 2 years old and never eats! He has been offered every variety of cat food there is dried/ wet expensive/cheap and nothing appeals. He has a few bites to eat now and then but is so keep to play outdoors it is almost like he hasn't the time! He seems very healthy and happy, just is very thin to look at...any help gratefully appreciated! :help::help::help::help:
One possibility is that he could be being fed somewhere else, other than that as he is only young he is probably burning a lot of his food off playing outside. If he is happy and healthy in every way then I would not worry too much as long as he eats sometimes, regarding the weight cats at this age are very slender anyway but when you say thin? Can you see his ribs, backbone?

No I cant see his bones but I can almost get my hand around the thin bit of his back near his tail - he does look very healthy and never stays still for a minute so I know he will burn off a lot of energy, just would love to see him sit down and have a good meal!

Have you taken him to the vets? He might be having teeth problems? Or try cooked chicken maybe?

I gave him cooked chicken the other day actually and he did eat a bit of it. I don't think its that he cant eat more that food doesnt excite him enough and he simply cant be bothered, he is the sweetest happiest cat in every other way

I'd take him to the vets if hes as skinny as you say he is, it might be an underlying problem
