I am due to do a 30 minute micro teach in the new year and realise that I dont know a lot about much! Has anyone got any interesting/amusing ideas?

I'm guessing your micro teach is your teacher training an you have a 30 min presntation to do on anything to your classmates?
Now it can be on anything at all. Mine was highly amusing, on a skill I have which is of little use to anyone but me.
Can you cook chilli? Can you plant seeds? Can you make a bed? What will your teaching subject be - surely you can teach for 30 mins on that?
Once you have your resources set up, an introduction spoken about, instruction for the lesson delivered and questions answered - the time has long gone!
They don't mind what its about, its the style, delivery and confidence they want to see.
