I went to see the Goo Goo Dolls in concert last week at City Hall and it was absolutely fantastic.

Im already a major fan of the Male band but after that concert i'm an even bigger fan and i even got my brother into them. He said they were an inspiration for him.

Did anyone else go and see them and what do they think?

I think the Goo Goo Dolls are one of the best bands that aren't hugely famous. I've seen them a few times and they are just superb

I went too, meant to start a thread about it last week but forgot. I love the fact that they aren't that well known over here. When you say you're going to see the Goo Goo Dolls people give you a weird look as if they think you're seeing something akin to the Spice Girls :)

The concert was brilliant as always, but I wasn't that keen on the warmup band.

no i know what you mean about them i didnt understand a word they were saying lol.

When i mention Goo Goo Dolls people think they are a female band which i think is very sexist lol. I absolutely loved the concert. The balloons were great as well although i cringed every time they popped one lol.

THat was last concert they are performing in Sheffield ;( its not fair.

It was the whole jumping about the stage thing by the two guitarists that ruined they're act for me. Showing my age here, but it was a bit Back to the Future :)

I went when they played in Nottingham (at Rock City I think) last year. It'd be a shame if they don't come back to Sheffield, but I'll happily go and see them somewhere else.
