Did anyone see the program last night about the oldies group called the "Zimmers", the main singer is 90 and one of the ladies is 99, they went to Hollywood and met gorgeous George (Clooney) What made me smile is they werent fazed at meeting him at all :)
They've brought a cd out its by the Who "My Generation" for charity, i must admit i was a bit teary all the way through watching it, but then im an old softie
I got a bit mad when the radio stations wouldnt play it, who do they think they are  but they relented in the end (i think)
Hope ive got the enthusiasm to do something like that when im 90 :hihi:
Good on em i say

Whilst I did watch and enjoyed it I was a bit confused about the lack of radio coverage. I heard the Zimmers do a live interview with Chris Evans on his afternoon show on Radio 2. This was followed by the song being played. I believe this was also done prior to the song being released. I don't know what Chris Evans listening figures are but you won't get better publicity.
