Can anyone help. Someone ran into my car whilst parked outside my house on Northcote Avenue at Meersbrook. I now need 2 new doors and have to find another car to use for work. The incident occured late Saturday night or very early sunday morning 14th/15th July 2007. If anyone can give me an info I would be very grateful. If you work in a car repair business and a car comes in with a broken back light and red/burgandy paint on it I would appreciate a message.

At that time of night there is a better than average chance they had drunk a pint or two.
Good luck and if you do find them be sure to report it to the police as a fail to stop. :)

You say the car that hit you would have a broken back light that to me means it reversed into your car. Check the people in the houses opposite where your car was parked perhaps they had visitors who reversed into your car. Things like this usually happen to me in supermarkets.

Good to see you found who did it, but I'm curious when you say they'd replaced the rear light already. Did they come to you and own up or did you have to go to them and accuse them for them to admit it? If it's the second then I'd report them for the offence because if they've left one scene there's nothing to say they won't do it again and maybe get away with it next time.
