I have a few video files that are said to be encoded as MP4 and when I play them on XBMC there is lag. The frame rate is literally 1 frame per second but the audio is fine. Can I fix this or do I have to convert them to AVI?

used the klite mega codecs pack?
should play in media player classic or winamp fine?

I guess they are high definition x264 encoded? If so the xbox can't play them due to the processor. It's p3 733 iirc which is nowhere near fast enough to decode the file at anything approaching a decent frame rate.
