but events have overtaken me. I was hoping to get my shawl back on track today but had a phonecall at 9.30 to say I've got someone to fit your carpet. Can we do it today? Well, I've been out of my bedroom for 3 weeks now and the mannie came on Monday to say the carpet was here, but he'd broken his foot in 3 places and obviously couldn't fit it for us, so who was I to say no? Just need to put the accent wallpaper on the wall behind the bed now and we can move back into the room. It will be like moving into the house all over again.
