Open for business people! All disability and carers matters can be discussed in here. I think there may be some threads which will come over here shortly, so bear with everyone as it gets set up, and we feel the way around, and I hope we can all help each other.

As always, confidentiality and respect will be the name of the game.

I'm one of the Group Leaders, and I'm sure the other will be along shortly, but I think I should allow our comrade to burst onto the scene in his own way!

Everything that happyhippy said, plus I'd just like to say that if people want to debate things like the rights and wrongs of whether disabled people should get certain benefits, or disabled parking bays or whatever, can they do this in General Discussion; this group is for people to share information and support each other in a positive way.

that's a welcome change. was beginning to get really fed up with all of that stuff and wishing they were all in the same position as me and they'd soon change their tune. :)
