I'm so so sorry to hear that little scrotes have stolen your rabbit.
It's theft and criminal damage, so even if there's no chance of any prosecutions, I'd report it to the Police.
Was the hutch out of sight in the back garden? If so, it would imply that the scrotes had local knowledge. I really hope the obnoxious pieces of scum don't harm your bunny xxx
debbie6899 11-07-2007, 17:51 Hi yes the hutch was out of sight on the back garden there is a locked gate so they have climed over the 5ft wall. left bbq shed etc just broke into hutch that was padlocked hence the damage. They obviously wanted her. I don't really know how you can see, suppose if your on your tip toes you can see over wall but you can also see padlocks etc. thing is a rabbit is only worth a fiver or so. to go to all that trouble. Little one convinced she is gonna come back

Oh, poor sweetie.....lets hope she doesn't have her heart broken by cruel children. Definately call the Police in that case....and good luck xxx
cherryice 11-07-2007, 17:57 god how awful.if anyone does know anything about this i hope you will give some information.
imagine if it was your pet that this had happened to if you do know anything.
heres hoping you get your rabbit back safe and sound so sad to hear people can be so cruel good luck.
I hope you do get your rabbit back but prepare yourself for the worst.
debbie6899 11-07-2007, 18:21 I know. its very unlikely as it was obviously the rabbit they wanted. This gets wrst though this is the second time its happened and bizarrely almot a year apart bar 3 days. At our old house we had the same rabbit stolen!! that time though they took the whole thing, the hutch, the food the rabbit etc. The star ran a story on it with a pic of my daughter and we got Twitchy back!! i just cant believe its happened again. can t be the same people as we live somewhere totally different and last time they obviously wanted the hutch and let the rabbit go, someone handed her into the police. But how bad it happening twice. dont think we will be so lucky this time.
pet-walkiz 11-07-2007, 18:45 what colour is the rabbit?
bunnykins 11-07-2007, 18:48 thats shocking who would steal a rabbit phone the police and get it reported.
wouldnt hold out for it back,im shocked reading this honest

Maybe you could ask them to run a follow up story?
shihtzumad 11-07-2007, 18:51 what colour is the rabbit?
The rabbit is Grey it says in the title
shihtzumad 11-07-2007, 18:54 How awful for you, and most of all your daughter, i really hope you get her back, if you do i would consider keeping her indoors if you have the space.
Children don't understand they are bad people about, i really hope you have a happy ending.
Nigel Womersle 11-07-2007, 23:37 I hope you get the rabbit back. They are also lovely pets in the house. My friend has a 6 months old female rabbit in her home. She is absolutely gorgeous. When I go there, I have her on my knee most of the time. I hope your daughter isn't too devasted by her loss. The scumbags are everywhere. Who in their right mind would do such a low life thing to a totally innocent little animal?
The Manager 11-07-2007, 23:47 really sorry to hear that, im not sure but i think i saw a advert in a local shop "rabits free to good homes , ill try get number and pass this on if you did want anouther rabbit that is

Who the heck would steal a rabbit?
The sods. Heart breaking for your daughter, hope you get rabbit back. :)
Who the heck would steal a rabbit?
Some cruel swine!
What a shame, I do hope he turns up safely. But, you just think he won't.
Its awful isn't?
Bless you. My 2 outdoor rabbits got stolen christmas eve last yar and its heartbreaking. I would certainly contact the star to see if they will run a follow up story. Like you my hutch wasnt stolen so I slept in the garden incase they came back for it. Also maybe ask the postie as they obviously go round backs of houses and will see an addition. This said I was suspicious of them too as how many others go round the back of houses.
We now have an indoor rabbit and I feel much more confident with him. II I had more outdoor I would be so paranoid. I know it wont take away your daughters upset for twitchy but it may distract her for a while
Hope you get him back though but I wouldnt expect much help from police
Some people are SCUM
debbie6899 12-07-2007, 17:53 thank you for all your kind replies. unfortunately we still havent heard anything, looking unlikely that we will now. We cant really have an indoor pet as im out at work all ay so don't really think it would be fair an Twitchy had a great knack of biting through wires etc so would be worried for its safety. The thing is its a new estate where i live and no access to back gardens for even postie to see over so its just really strange they realised i had a rabbit unless they were right next to my house looking over the wall then would go to the trouble of breaking into a hutch and stealing her. still please keep an eye out if you see or hear anything. x
debbie6899 14-07-2007, 11:17 Hi peeps. Still no word on the rabbit. Im guessing hte little so and so's just let her go and the outlook isnt too promising but can you please ask around if anyone has seen a little grey rabbit. thanks
Maybe you could ask them to run a follow up story?
Thats an excellent idea, I bet they would.
some parents must`ve noticed if their kids have come home with a rabbit.
debbie6899 14-07-2007, 15:10 trouble is i work with vunerable children now and i need to keep my address a secret really otherwise i would. Police did say as its the rabbit they were obviusly after this time then its highly unlikely the story would get her back anyway. x
