This place has the best modern british/french food i have tasted in a long time, coming from a michelin * catering background (down south) when i moved to sheffield i wanted to sample the cuisine.. I saw a write up in the CATERER magazine and decided to give it a try..

Cricket inn must have improved, as it was fairly average last year.
It's nice to sit outside in the summer & get ****faced in the sun, whilst watching a game of , well, cricket!

Nice menu if you fancy fish.

They're very dog friendly too!
