Does anyone know of a good place in sheffield to sell Golfing equipment. I have a selection of Cobra, Callaway and other branded equipment for sale (see my post in the for sale section), I have posted it on here for over two weeks with no interest at all, put it on eBay for a 10 day listing and again no interest, I have also contacted some local golf courses to see if I can sell via them only to be told that this is only available to members.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

N.

i dont have much knowledge on this, but looking at your prices there VERY expensive. perhaps you'd be better reducing the price and offering as a job lot!!

My advice would be that you need to reduce your prices considerably before you'll generate interest.

The contents of My Golf Bag cost me around £2000 pounds, Top quality fat shaft clubs, the resale value would be less than £300 (even at a golf club)

In my mind realistic prices would be:

Trolley £20
Golf Bag £20
Big Bertha £30 - £40
Irons £10
putters £15 - £20
SS/430 driver £40
Set of irons £80 - £100

As a golfer myself, I would agree that almost all of the items are vastly over priced.

Probably only the Cobra Trusty Rusty and the Baffler are about right - maybe a little cheap depending on condition.

Sorry, but the rest is way over the top - have a look on ebay for what price second hand equipment is going for.....it is quite an accurate guide to the SH market for golf stuff.

Good luck.

Many thanks for your replies, I'm selling them for my father-in-law so will pass the comments on about pricing.

Many thanks
