Im looking for a nice restaurant for my 21st birthday in january.We are planning a meal for about 20-30 people and want to know some good venues.Preferably somewhere with a function room.Either italian/chinese/indian food.If anybody could recommend any that would be great.

I had my 21st last year at Napoleons at Owlerton and it was absolutely gorgeous. First class service too... they even laid out napkins on our knees for us. The meals are fairly expensive but not as bad as a lot of places. Outside (and inside too) there are fairy lights and fountains - ideal for photos to be taken. The only let down is that you need to be a member, or at least have 5 members (if its a group of 30 people) attending as each member can sign 4 guests in at anyone time. We wasn't member before the meal, but we were quickly registered about a week or so before and everything went so well.

It was a magical night and infact the last birthday I had with my dad before he died earlier this year, and I was so pleased we had it there now when I look back because we have some great memories of that night and the meal and lovely photos too.
