Please tell me you have not tried to sign in from an e-mail sent by them! I did it a few weeks ago and someone knicked my account, you need to get in touch with them ASAP, they'll start using your good name and feedback for ilegal activity! Do a search on the site for your username, they may already be using it.

Good luck

This happened to me. My account was hacked while I was online using it!
You need to email spoof@ebay.co.uk & explain you think your account has been hacked ASAP. Do you have the item number of the very last thing you bought or sold? Let them know this too. If your account is being used for illegal selling YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE CHARGES INCURRED! Ebay are B*st*rds at doing this.

Also if you have a PAYPAL account email spoof@paypal.co.uk with the same message.

Contact your bank/credit card co that your PAYPAL account is set up with - otherwise s/one may also get access to your accounts too.
PM me & I'll check your account under view-sellers-items for you & let you know if it's active & being used.

Any dodgy emails you receive that you are suspicious of that pertain to come from ebay - FORWARD THEM TO SPOOF@EBAY.CO.UK WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING IN THE CONTENT AND DON'T CLICK ON ANY LINKS - EVER. Ebay are able to investigate & trace the source from forwarding. If its genuine they'll let u know.

Pauline if it's any consolation you're not alone. I suddenly can't sign in to ebay. As I click on sign in I get this page is not available.
I havn't clicked on any spoof emails I've let ebay know but they are no help.
I have all my cookie settings and security etc all correct. I will be discussing this with a computer wizard on Tuseday I will let you know his verdict.
Let me know if you get a result before then please.

I've experienced this occasionally and it usually requires me to delete my cookies and cached files from within Internet Explorer.

This seem to solve a lot of 'weird' problems - It's in the Tools, Options menu on IE. Just go in and delete cached pages and cookies.

You'll have to sign in again to sites that require cookies but you may find it works.

Although deleting the cookies alone may help, I've found that being thorough usually solves the problem 100%.

Just to get back to the can't sign in to ebay problem. After trying every thing else i.e. security settings, cookies, virus spywear, two different computer repair people, emails to ebay with no joy I reinstalled my widows operating system completely and this has solved the problem.
It seemed a drastic but I couldn't think of any other way.
