I think the difference is that Wednesday still own some assets ie. Hillsborough - whereas LUFC don't own 'owt apart from Dennis Wise and 17 players - and 5 of them are untried youth squad players.

Oh dear, how sad :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

Why dont they just let them go into receivership and go under, knock the ground down and make something really useful like a car park:hihi:

They'd need attendants then, which would be a much better distribution of talent.

Their current squad will need jobs, and I reckon they'd be more suited to a car park than being near a green piece of ground, with a round thing.

Would you park where Dennis Wise and Ken Bates are the car park attendants??? I wouldn't even trust them with a second hand copy of Autotrader.

Yes, were they to go under then I'd like to see the fans of both Wednesday and United for once join forces - we could be called the Bowel Movement (Blade and Owl) where we could all congregate in the Millennium Gardens.

I'd bring the guitar and lead you all into a chorus of We All Hate L*eds. Hopefully, Harry Gration would be there with that woman who talks like a fella from Look Bored.

Also, Ken Bates would make a cracking Guy Fawkes, wouldn't he?

With all the warnings about language on the forum. And I'm already on a warning, I shall have to let someone else describe the reasons for hating L**ds. :hihi:

As a genuine football fan, I think it would be appalling if Leeds went bust. They are the perfect example of how mis management can completely destroy a team and leave an army of fans on the brink of devastation.

Lets face it, Wednesday are only here but for the grace of God, and considering most Sheffield fans I have met define themselves more via who they hate than who they actually support, it would be in everyone’s myopic interests for Leeds to stay afloat.

Ever since I contributed to the Bury FC crisis fund, I simply cannot condone any 'fan' that thinks it is amusing for a club to be wound up. Remember, fate can be very fickle.

I agree Mike, I don't really want to see them disappear. But I can't help enjoying seeing them struggle a little:D

if leeds did disappear, we might end up with some dirty ex-leeds fans at the lane. most of them would probably end up at hillsborough, but i dont want to risk it anyway.

I doubt it. If the Blades wound up, I'd rather go and watch Sheffield FC. I'd never ever support Wednesday.

I think they would probably do what AFC Wimbledon, and FC United of Manchester have done.
