Hey peeps, hope all u pregnant ladies are doing ok :)

im due 2moz, and feelin fed up one day and elated the next. Im wandering when my baby is gonna make an appearance.

Anyways.....they dont come on here but im well proud of one my mates, she gave birth to her daughter at 2am this morning, weighing 8Ib 3oz (i think it was 3oz, memory is bad) so congratulations to her and then wen i found out about that i got a txt from my friend and her waters have broken.

I gave her a quick ring and was talkin to her thru her 1st contraction, this made me feel all proud and excited....i wish her all the luck in the world

one definate born on 7/7/07 and one maybe (dependin on how quick the baby wants out)

Then i want to congratulate my moms friends who had their application for adoption accepted last week and hopefully bringing home 8 month old baby Reece/Rhys Alexander at the end of the month. I am soooo happy for them

i have to wait until february or march next year!! now that is a long time!!!

but congratulations to all the above, its nice when you have friends that have babies at the same time, stops other friends having to hear so much about the colour of poo, oz of milk etcetc

enjoy the time without the baby, every kick every movement cos when its all over you miss it like crazy, I know I do :)

Im not due while january next year. Am happy to stay pregnant as im no where near over the shock or prepared for the baby.lol.
Am really happy , but my youngest is now 6. All my mates had there kids close together im gonna have a 6 year age gap. So i got loads to get used to again.Congrats to all the people you mentioned. Charlie x

just wanted to know if anyones in the same boat as me....im only 3days overdue i know but i am feelin all sorts of emotions.

it is tough this last bit and no one told me how tough it is lol, they kept me in the dark haha

funnily enough ive jus read something like that on one of the baby sites i go on. it says imagine ur baby as a slice of toast once its ready it'll go pop. which is a good way to look at it :)

My mum was left to go 6 weeks over back in 1978, I stopped growing for a month so they changed all her dates, she ended up being pregnant for 10 1/2 months.... poor thing.. apparently I was just comfy :blush:

At least they'll never let you get that far nowadays!!

Sazk - you'll soon be there, make the most of that last sleep time, in a week you'll be frazzled and exhausted with sleeplessness and a baby who demands ALL your waking moments, watch a few dvds or films at the cinema (you won't be able to keep your eyes open long enough for about 3 months). Go out for a meal, that might be quite a while away too. Make the most of the final days :)

And if you're still 'cooking' on Monday get down to Jellys for a bit of pampering - facials, hairdressing, Virgin Vie, people running back and forth making tea for you etc etc

Try grapes long story but my mate ate a bunch and that sent her in to labour. I was 5 days overdue with my first.x

its not 7 days overdue, i had strong contractions fri nite for 4 hours, i thought "this is it" but then i was shattered (it was 4am) and i fell asleep and they stopped. Had niggles since.......but nothing.

I remember the last week of my pregnancy, I so loved being pregnant but was starting to get quite uncomfortable. I made sure OH took a lovely picture of me with my 'bump' as a reminder.

My cousin had a membrane sweep a couple of weeks back, and she was then induced a couple of days later. She had a brilliant and very quick labour and birth, she said she couldn't believe how quick and easy it was.

So, here's hoping yours is quick and easy too. Thinking of you hon :)

Basically midwife puts her fingers up and rubs the membranes, it weakens it in hope that it makes the uterus contract

im now convinced its going to be saturday so i feel a lot better. Had a down day yesterday, stayed in bed most of it and jus lounged about. I have been out n about in town and then for lunch wiv my parents and brother which was nice. didnt over do it jus strolled around.

Well the day has finally come, i think im prepared. Ive read up on induding on babycentre...but just gonna go in and go with the flow. Im a little scared, ok a lot scared but im excited at the same time.

Ive got my brother makin me my brunch (had a nice lie in this morning) which is a nice thing for him to do, a shock at the same time lol

anyways im off, breakfast is ready.....nxt time im on here ill be a mommy, :o
