Hi

Does anyone know what the William Hill recruitment procedure is these days? A few months ago you had to fill in an online personality-type survey, but now just give details for them to call you (not for a telephone interview, just to go over hours etc.).
What happens at the 2nd stage (1/2hr-45min)- just a numeracy test or more? Then what happens if you pass that?

Any help appreciated as ever

:-D

I assume that you're referring to a job in Telebetting?

There is (or used to be) a basic numeracy and literacy test, nothing too taxing. Then if you pass that you're given a few weeks "classroom" training to learn about betting and sports etc...

After that you sit with a trainer and listen to them taking bets. Gradually you learn to do the talking whilst your trainer operates the computer and vice versa. After a few weeks you'll be on your own.

And they teach you how to be obnoxious to other people sharing the building.
