Can you tell me if were having a SFCG ?

I am new to the caring life and have looked all the over the net for a Sheffield or South Yorkshire only forum.

I saw a post a whie back about us having a dedicated caers group on here but havnt seen it appear ?

We have a weding, walkers, writers etc etc

Carers one seems like such a wonderful idea for all the yorkshire carers huh ?

At the moment there are various things that have been put on hold whilst we deal with floods, holidaying Moderators, Mods with day jobs and so on. :)

We will get these things sorted out!

Hi, welcome to being a carer - it's a right pain in the a**e at times, especially when you're trying to find out what help is available.

Sheffield Carers centre is excellent - and they have Coffee Mornings and other events for carers, where you can meet up and talk to other people who are facing the same problems as you.

People on SF are always willing to help out with advice, or a bit of support if you're feeling isolated and battered.
