How far have we walked

This question seems to be asked on most of the walks I've been on - usually opinions vary about the length of our walks. We even tried comparing pedometer readings and found some significant differences.

Now I've just discovered a really helpful site which is a hack that uses Google's mapping application to help record distances traveled and calories burned during a walk - see below

What does it matter ' How far you've worked if you've enjoyed ?'.
In my younger hiking days I'd often cover twenty mile but the best walk that I can remember was,' The Flouch to the John Derry Memorial Bridge at the top of Ladybower ' that is probably about six or seven mile.
The main thing is to enjoy the walk and whilst you are doing it,' To let the world go bye '.
