Wow. feargal 05-07-2007, 07:04 :clap::clap: Well done Godzilla! I'm soooo jealous. I hope you got some photos? :D CarolW 05-07-2007, 07:27 Well Done!!!!:clap: Glad you enjoyed it, I did it in 2002 - and got the Dodgy Picture to prove it!!!! scoobz 05-07-2007, 17:21 I did it!! Yesterday. There were strong winds which made it a bit scary, but I was up there. Wow. New Zealand and Australia eh? Jammy """ Nooka 05-07-2007, 21:37 Sounds great cant wait to see photies! :D CarolW 06-07-2007, 07:40 When I was doing the Bridge Walk, we weren't allowed to take anything of our own onto the Bridge - they even gave us a hankie attached to a bit of elastic to loop around the wrist!!! We had to wear these very fetching (NOT!!!) grey nylon all-in-one suits!! :gag: Had an alcohol breath test and a vertigo test before we were allowed anywhere near the Bridge!!! The walk leader was the only one allowed to take a camera - hence the dodgy pictures - the wind blew my hair every which way and in the pic it was Ginger!!!! Godzilla 08-07-2007, 05:13 Yes, got a series of dodgy photos, but memories of a good day. Am now in Auckland visiting my sister & family. We're planning a walk on Mt Rangitoto over the next couple of days. Then I leave for home on the 14th. Godzilla 15-07-2007, 09:58 Arrived back home just 30 mins ago. Whilst in Auckland I managed a climb up Rangitoto and also a trek round the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. Will be up for a local walk soon. scoobz 23-07-2007, 19:56 Arrived back home just 30 mins ago.
