I don't know of any in Sheffield, but I know Bessacarr Evangelical Church, and Doncaster Evangelical Church, both in Doncaster.
pm me if you want to know any more.

St. Thomas is at Crookes it is an Anglican/Baptist and seems to have a huge congregation. Otherwise in Sheffield if you're looking for evangelical/charismatic I would suggest the house church in the city centre, Nretheredge or Jordanthorpe. Other lively churches, Woodseats Baptist or Christ Church Fulwood, there are plenty if you look around.

There are loads of evangelical churches in S. Yorks. Depends where you live really and whether you want a charismatic church or not.
You could try out City Church on Wilson Rd (a few streets down Ecclesall Rd from Hunters Bar Roundabout) for a church with good teaching and lively worship. Meets at 10.30am on Sundays (10am Christmas day)
