I will be studying BSc computing 4 year sandwich at Hallam this september. Im from down south and the reason i chose to come up north was because I want to experience Uni life in the fullest, and by going so far away from Southend (Essex), I will have a good chance to meet different types of people I would have never met down here.
I just wonder how the social habits will differ from the two places.
Down here in Southend there are a lot of stereotypical rudeboys who drive around in their suped up cars, baseball caps and attitude problems. I wonder if the stereotypical Essex Boy is any diferent to the Northern stereotypes?
I wonder what the northern birds are like also?
All the Essex girl jokes you ever heard.....totally true. Which in some ways is something I can't stand. Nothing worse than seeing a fit looking girl in a club, only to hear her talk like a dumb common slut.
On the other hand not all essex people fit into these stereotypes, and are nice people...just like me ;)
hmmm I also think I might seem a bit weird up in sheffiled with my drinking habits.....Im a whisky man, but i get feeling you all probably drink 'ale' or some [edited]?
