I ordered some from GK about a month ago but they were out of stock -they did tell me after I'd ordered and gave me a choice of waiting or a refund.

Any idea where else I could get some from?

I saw some on the Knitting and Crochet Guild stand at Woolfest, they're a teal colour. They have a web page here (http://www.kcgtrading.com/tools.php)

Ooh thanks. Do I have to join though to be able to buy?

No,you don't have to join to buy but there is a discount if you are a member. I keep meaning to do it but never get around to it. I would have bought sock blockers at the weekend if I could have been bothered to fight my way to the front of their stall.

Hi Jules, try this link for sock blockers and the best bit is it will cost you nothing...

Hi
You can borrow my blocker to use as a template if you wish. Thinking about making them from harder woods if you want one that is sturdier.

I made mine out of cheap plastic place mats and cardboard.

a few sellers on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com) sell handmade wooden ones and are lovely

Thanks everyone. The sock blockers arrived in the summer I think. Very useful they are too!
