Just checking...doesn't say anything on their website but not sure how the floods were down this end....

I'm sure it's a lot more reliable to phone them than to rely on rumours from here. And as for their website, they would not be advertising today's performances if they weren't open.

Valley Centertainment is open despite the floods - it says so on their website (http://www.valley-leisure.co.uk/)

its open, went friday night and saturday night.

their website's out of date then. I checked yesterday and when selecting sheffield as my local cinema it still said shut due to flood damage.
guess their techies don't work weekends!

They had changed their time of opening but are back to normal today. Think it was just because of power cuts. No obvious sign of flood damage anywhere near them.

They're losing business then - I'd have gone today, but I've just checked and website still says closed until further notice.

we went to chesterfield thursday 'cos of the info in this site.
but we went to the 11.30pm showing of pirates friday and it was ok,then afternoon session of flying scotsman and then dropped the daughter off for hostel 2 @ night.
no problems .
