When we had beardie babies we used to put in a crate of cress and they'd sit on it and nibble - it was so cute.

So, I decided to give it a go with the grown ups today. I took it out of the plastic crate (in case they sat on a sharp bit) and placed it (soil and all) in their salad bowl. The best way I can describe it is Whooosh!

In case anyone is worried, this is an occasional treat, I'm still planning on feeding them bugs and greens
