Midhopestones Village Gala Cancellation Sat 30th and Sunday 1st July

It is with great regret that The Chairman and Committee have reluctantly decided to cancel this years Gala. This is due to the recent weather, the forecast for the weekend and localised flooding in and around the village.

Many thanks to all those who support the gala and to those who given their time and energy to make the event the success it has been in the past.

We look forward to seeing you next year

Gala is on the 5th and 6th of July. Hope to be there on the 6th :thumbsup:

You might want to contact the mods and change the title of this thread before too many people just read the title and assume it's cancelled this year as well.

Good luck this year! Ours too is on - in Beìghton sat 12 july 2008 - all help greatfully recieved , church evidently could do with table chair and marquee ' removal/assembling - contact me or sugar lump if you a feeling strong! - even 1 hour helps ! Hope all galas go ahead this year- we all need the community spirit reviving. And S F - guys - support as many events as you can get to cheers x
