Can anyone help me out by recommending a good locksmith, need yale locks putting in the front and back door!

What are you looking to do - replace the cylinders on existing yale nightlatches, or fit new ones ?. Will these be the only locks on the doors - if so, then BS3621:2004 models should be used to comply with insurance requirements.

I can't remember his name, but there's a locksmith on West Street (just opposite Mappin Street) and he's great. Our lock broke not so long back and he talked me through (by phone) how to remove it, how to measure it, and then I went to the shop and he sold me exactly what I needed, then explained how to put it all back together again. For the price of a new lock! Considering we'd been fleeced a few weeks previous for another emergency lock repair (about £80), I was well impressed. He can also come out and do stuff for you. Dang I wish I could remember his name - he's in Yellow Pages, the only locksmith on West Street.
