Ive seen a few bars advertising northern soul nights around but was wondering if anyone knew of one that's worth checking out?

northern soul always makes me think of talc he he! i went to one at city hall in town. not my bag really, but entertaining!

yeh definitely! Ive got a m8 who dj's at twisted wheel in manchester!! Tis just a good laugh! Music gets everyone dancin although it can be an odd crowd.

the dancing made me giggle! and the clothes lol! sort of michael jackson gone wrong with their tight black trou and white socks showing mmmm:hihi:

yeh! Brilliant! I think its the only kind of music where u get mifddle age, fat, bald men who are amazing dancers!! (they are all prolly off their heads like) but some of the moves they havE!! MY WORD!

My dad used to check that place out in the 1960`s and knows someone who is currently writing a book about the old scene! any information might be useful!!!

I do a night called soul food at The Earl every fortnight. Mostly northern soul with a bit of funk. free entry.

i no the deep end bar in hilsbrough used to run some good northern soul nights a few years back dont no if they do now tho:)

There used to be a northern soul night at Davy Social Club on Prince of Wales Rd - Darnall.
