After all the annoying flooding im a little worried,

my recieption is to be at the sheffield wednesday ground next saturday (the 7th) and i cant get thru to them??

What should i do?

I would have thought that they would get in touch with you, if they were unable to accommodate you on the day.

To be honest, looking at the ground it does look unlikely that any event will go ahead.

Anyone know anywhere for wedding receptions at short notice?

I read in the Star yesterday that they have no e;ectricity or phone lines at all. It also said that floodwater had damaged the changing rooms, boardroom, kitchen and Riverside suite. :(

It maybe that their records have been lost and they cannot phone you. If I were you I would get myself down there sharpish and speak to someone. Good Luck!

Thats good news. Glad you got it sorted. Weddings can be stressful to start with, but when something like this happens its agonising.

I'm really glad that they have put your mind at rest- this is very short notice to try to arrange anything else.

This thread also put my mind at rest since our school prom is there next fri too! I had visions of soggy dresses!

I had my wedding meal at the wednesday ground on june 2nd. The food was spot on and the staff where so helpfull and did offered a great service. Hope you have a great day charlie x

my daughter is going to the prom at the wednesday ground and having a meal on the 6th and we rung up and everything is still on and ok, so i should think your wedding will be ok hope this helped

Yeah that was the lady I saw!! Looked very happy and her dress was gorgeous!! Hope everything went ok, and I wish them both a lifetime of happiness :)
