Hi All

Hopefully my boiler's going to get fixed but whilst we're waiting we're considering putting in a new condensing boiler for central heating + hot water (in tank).

Currently we have a wall mounted boiler Potterton Suprema 60 in the kitchen. Can you give me a rough estimate as to how much it'd cost to replace this, and also what likely efficiency difference would be? It's about 7 years old.

Cheers!

1. Cost to replace - difficult to give a ball park figure without looking at the job. Many things to factor in, therefore never accept a quote from anyone whos never seen the existing system. My best advice is to get at least 3 quotes in writing and then compare like with like.

2. Most of the condensing 'A' rated boilers now run at 90+% efficiency.
