Just flicking through YouTube watching many of my favorite, bands / singles of the unforgetable 80's.

Only trouble is I now getting older, and my mind becoming slower, that I cannot now remember many of the fanastic bands / singles of the 80's, so the purpose of this thread is to ask you 'oldies' of my generation to list your favorite bands / singles of the unforgettable 80's.

Thanks.

I quite like that one.

Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5tLpzVZi-0) an odd one-hit wonder - I spent years waiting for it to pop it's head up as an mp3 - finally found it last year.

Lots of good choices there.

I'd add to those: Start! The Jam, Labour of Love Hue and Cry, Funky Cold Medina Tone Loc, Kiss me Steven Tin Tin Duffy, Situation Yazoo, Wham Rap Wham Victims Culture Club, Hungry like The Wolf Duran Duran, True Spandau Ballet, Fast Car Tracy Chapman, Take on me Aha, Misfit Curiosity killed the cat, Martha's harbour All about Eve, Fantastic Day Haircut one hundred, Don't try to stop it Roman Holiday, Zoom Fat larry's band, Forget me nots Patrice Rushen. I'll stop there.

Not a big fan of the 80s, so I'll just say anything by the Smiths; the Waterboys "Whole of the Moon"; and Jesus and Mary Chain "Some Candy Talking"
