I'm having a dispute with the council over my council tax. I've managed to get the banding reduced from F to E backdated to 1993.
The refund they are offering doesn't add up and is obviously incorrect, but I can't do my own calculation without knowing the rates of council tax back to 1993.
Does anybody know where to get this information?

How do you get your banding reduced?

Ask the Council Tax office?
Go to the Library?
