Friday 6th July @ the runaway girl, Sheffield
Keep in time (no.2),
presents

Live ‘n’ direct!!! The debut
Middlewood Sessions (Brownswood recordings)

Whoa, I’m exited about this one. ‘Keep in time’ returns with a cracker, in fact it’s a bit of an exclusive.

After the lovely Kathy Diamond we thought were can we go next? Brownswood recordings and Sheffield’s own jazz dance funksters; Middlewood Sessions that’s were.
1st time I heard “fall back” I was blown away, as was Gilles Peterson and plenty others the world over. Gilles put it in his worldwide top 20 of 2006 and signed em. Well done sir. Definitely not a 1 trick pony these guys check their space and be on the look out for some remixes floating around: http://www.myspace.com/middlewoodsessions The bands been locked away perfecting the sound and we got the live debut explosion with all the bits ‘n’ pieces, yeah.

And there’s more…. Quality disko, house, funk and jazzy bits from dj’s….. Hold tight:
Solid state (society) Solids back @ Keep in time to rip up the floor again, and along side we got Nigel Fischer (inside out) who I’m exited to hear as last time I caught him dropping deepness I nearly cried ha ha.

Door: 9:30 till 3am. Only £3 @ runaway girl, Sheffield
Marek x

'Middlewood Sessions',
I'm really exited to see these guys live tomorrow night at 'keep in time'. It's not often you get to catch a new act that sound as large as this, perform for the 1st time, and the fact that the guys hail from Sheffield, tickles me nicely. Quality 100% original material on the jazzy dance funk tip. £3 folks for a bit of history in the making, ha ha
