If anyone has got the pattern handy to give me a bit of help?

I've done the body and the first 8 rows of the shirt, so now I'm up to the side shaping. I've got 32 sts on my needle and the next row says:

1st inc row K7,(inc1) twice, K13 (inc 1) twice, K8 (36 sts)

I can get as far as knitting 13 and increasing once, then I've only got 2 stitches on the needle left....

I don't have the pattern, but this is how it works out to me:

Start with 32 stitches.
- K7 - 7 stitches knit of 32.
- inc 1 twice - 2 more stitches knit - 9 stitches knit in total.
- k13 - 13 more stitches knit - 22 stitches knit in total (you should have 10 left at this point).
- inc 1 twice - two more stitches knit - 24 stitches knit in total.
- k8 - 8 more stitches knit - 32 stitches knit in total. You should now be at the end of the row.

How are you knitting the increases?

Thanks, I've found out where I was going wrong.... I was knitting 7 twice then knitting increasing each time

I'm glad we've got the internet to help out with these things!
