I had an uncle called James (Jim ) Daff who was a boxer back in the 1940,s and fought under the name of Jim Curly.
James lived in the Kelvin district until it was redeveloped and sadly passed away in 1999.
Is there anyone who can remember him or may have any information about his boxing career that they might like to share.

I re-call going to Butlins with my parents. Exactly which year (between 1947-1952)
There was a boxing instructor from sheffield called Jim. For years I had his photo on my wall. Perhaps, Jim Curly.
