No he never had a Mini Metro, always Fords, either Escorts or Fiestas. He started as a Driving Instructor with BSM in Sheffield, then had his own Driving School, with Pupils from all over the Sheffield region. Im sure they did yeah cos everyone talked about him and what he was like, i forgot my dad in law passed with him too, im sure most of the other family did. I wished id persivered now but at the time i was only young. Are there any you can publish in public????? :lol: hi betelgeuse on one occasion we was going up moonshine at southy and i must have been going to slow he hated it if you didnt drive at the right speed :hihi:he turned to me and said in a harsh voice "come on give it more bloody gas" so i did :hihi:bloody hell he said you arnt nigel mansell at least he so the funny side of it. i used to find it hard reversing around corners i knew when i wasnt doing too good when he used to sit there and start tutting you never pass at this rate flower. best thing about it on the test day he said that i was a good driver but he didnt say anything before to me as he didnt want me to get to big headed could have hit him for all that shouting at me for nothing :hihi: Betelgeuse 07-08-2007, 06:47 Posted by Matiz in another thread.... driving instructers i remember my instructer gordon hunston very strict many a times he would make me cry:hihi: but he was really good at his job i passed first time glad i did wouldnt like to tell him i failed:hihi:... GORDON HUNSTON that name brings back memories me and my hubby both passed with him he was a really good techer VERRY STRICT but really good hubby passed first time me 2nd i remeber learning in a red ford fiesta way back in about 1987 ish xx fond memeories he always used to tek us to crystal peeks i remember it was just being built at the time GOD !!!
