hi if its the same guy i did he was small with grey hair and a tash very strict always shouted at me many a times i cried but he was a good instructer one of the best passed first time dont think i could face him if i had failed:hihi::hihi:my brother also passed first time with him can still hear some things he used to say even it has been ten years since i passed think he has scarred me for life:hihi:

when i had lessons with him he owned a mark 3 fiesta and the one before that was another fiesta my brother had lessons with him three years later and he still had a fiesta but newer model i remember once he was on about cars he used to have iam sure he didnt mention a mini metro i know he loved his ford fiestas iam sure this is what he owned the most of but i dont know he might have years ago

No he never had a Mini Metro, always Fords, either Escorts or Fiestas.
He started as a Driving Instructor with BSM in Sheffield, then had his own Driving School, with Pupils from all over the Sheffield region.

My hubby and mam in law passed with him, I had lessons too but he scared me to to bits so after only a few i gave up. on my very first lesson he took me down attercliffe in rush hour in pouring down rain :hihi::hihi: ( i wasnt laughin at the time tho LOL i was petrified )

Did your Husband and Mother in Law experience the same first lesson nightmares!!! I did, just had a quick 5 minute controls chat, and we were away, down the busy A61!!!!!

Im sure they did yeah cos everyone talked about him and what he was like, i forgot my dad in law passed with him too, im sure most of the other family did. I wished id persivered now but at the time i was only young. I bet theres loads of people with fond if not scarey memories of thier hours out with him :D

hi betelgeuse on one occasion we was going up moonshine at southy and i must have been going to slow he hated it if you didnt drive at the right speed :hihi:he turned to me and said in a harsh voice "come on give it more bloody gas" so i did :hihi:bloody hell he said you arnt nigel mansell at least he so the funny side of it. i used to find it hard reversing around corners i knew when i wasnt doing too good when he used to sit there and start tutting you never pass at this rate flower. best thing about it on the test day he said that i was a good driver but he didnt say anything before to me as he didnt want me to get to big headed could have hit him for all that shouting at me for nothing :hihi:

god xxxx yea !!!!!!!!!!! GORDON HUNSTON that name brings back memories me and my hubby both passed with him he was a really good techer VERRY STRICT but really good hubby passed first time me 2nd i remeber learning in a red ford fiesta way back in about 1987 ish xx fond memeories he always used to tek us to crystal peeks i remember it was just being built at the time GOD !!! THAT SEEMES BLOODY YEARS AGO XXX
