Can anyone please tell me how to get to the University Health Sciences Library at the NGH from the city centre (preferably near the West Street end) if there is a way from there. I'm having problems trying to find where the buses go to/from on their website and figured it would be easier to ask people who know! Thank you!

The 97 and 22 will take you to the Barnsley road enterence.
The 75, and 76 will take you to the Herries road enterence.
You can catch all these bus's from Arundel Gate near the crucible

Isn't the health and medicine library at the Hallamshire as thats the main teaching hospital isn't it? There certainly is/was one there on B floor (I think!)

There is indeed a Health Sciences library at the Royal Hallamshire but the books I need are conveniently (not) placed at the one at the NGH.

you can reserve the books using the star network and and they can get delivered to the hallamshire one instead

Me being essentially lazy I already tried that one but if copies aren't checked out to other people it says 'There are no reservable copies for this title'.

Any idea if I can go to the desk in the Main Library and get them sent over?

You certainly should be able to - its a pretty poor library system if you can't!

Tell me about it! The uni I did my undergrad at would do it and all their sites were within walking distance of each other anyway. It was my tutor who said they won't and I'll have to trek out to the NGH, but I'll try asking nicely in the main library and see what they say.....
