The free ones rely on adware to support their programs, most of them shove junk software on your machine even though a majority of them say their p2p software is spyware free its not always the case :suspect:

hmm... or you could try eMule, which is open source and spyware free... or you could try downloading mIRC and connecting to one of the various channels on PhazeNet...

or you could try something like http://temp.oink.me.uk/ and use a bittorrent client like Azureus?

hmm wait... why pay for music downloading programs when they're limited to the PC you download them on, and only last while you have a contract with them, oh and its only certain pop songs mostly?

I'll stick with my other sources ;) oh and... buying albums too, buying CD's is always fun :D especially of the tinternet when I get get 2 CD's for the price of buying them at Virgin or HMV!

It doesn't matter which p2p file sharing system you use. They all have spyware in some form, even Kazza Lite!.

Ill stick to BitTorrent, Usenet and IRC thanks. No spyware in any of them.

bit torrent is the thing as most of the time you download using your full bandwidth allocation.

This makes gigabyte downloads much simpler.
