just seen an advert for some new compilation cd... and along with steve winwood's `valerie' there is so many that are blatent no talent rip offs!

heres the masterplan!... get a track from between 1984-1989...steal the first few words or the chorus...loop it..change the pitch...put a constant drum beat over it...and get some woman singing the chorus...

the best bit i liked was when whats his name....roger sanchez?? did that song that just repeated `if i had another chance tonight' which was ripped from TOTO's `i won't hold you back' now this sold very well and would have made sanchez lots of money. EXCEPT he forgot to do all the paperwork and get permission. so Steve Lukather the TOTO guitarist/songwriter got all the money....Lukather said something like....`didn't bother me, i bought a new house from him doing that wrong' haha class!

we need more good songwriting and less sampling!
