prob sounds a daft question but i am still new to the area and keep hearing about classic rock bar sounds like my kind of thing. Only problem i got no idea where it is. Ive seen address which means nothing to me sadly. Can anyone give me directions from say the train station

Is there anywhere else you know in sheffield? It's a bit awkward from the station. Do you know Waitrose? Collegiate crescent? Hunter's bar?

i know a few places i know a few places in the centre of sheffield but not many still getting to know my way around

Get yourself to 'the bottom of the Moor' (that's the end farthest from the town hall/peace gardens) and where the bus gate is (the dice-with-death, not-really-pedestrian bit called Furnival Gate).

Cross over. The pedestrian street takes you round to the left. When you get to a real road turn right. You should now be heading towards the traffic lights on London Rd/St Mary's gate.

Cross the dual carriage way as best you can! and turn right. You should now be passing Waitrose on your left. Turn left into Ecclesall Rd (so you've done 2 sides of Waitrose).

CRB is on your right. Good luck with the dual carriageway!

The search I did was for ecclesall rd, so as I said, dunno what the red circle's for. I know it's not CRB.

People in the street i mean. This is easier than going to your pc & waiting for a reply!

Perhaps some of us are a bit more sensible about wandering around town on our own, approaching strangers, during peak pub trading hours?

I think this way's more sensible.

And Sheffield is a bit difficult to navigate around.

And not everybody will know where to find any rock bars!!!!
