Two songs currently doing the rounds that are making my ears bleed are "Party For Two" by Shania Twain and that one about being a boy in Ireland by the Bryan McFadden.

From Bryan's song...

This is the city that raised me
With the religion they gave me
Now I'm old enough to know my own mind
But it was leaving that saved me
I've seen so much that has changed me
So just break with your past
Feed your own mind

And Shania...

(It doesn't matter)
uh, uh
(What I wear)
('Cause it's only gonna be)
You and me there

and the chorus

I'm having a party
A party for two (yeah)
Ain't invitin' nobody
Nobody but you (yeah)
Yeah, you

I'm normally fairly passive about songs, but these two... arggh :gag:

As an added note to Bryan McFADden, his record company are exceedingly lazy...

He did a duet with her off neighbours, and its on both of their albums!

The funny thing comes when both their CDs are advertised next to each other in sheffield station ;)

Don't see how that's lazy. Why doesn't a duet deserve to be on both their albums?
Actually, I'm not that bothered, I'd rather eat ten copies of each (including cases, inlay cards and that metal thing that sets the alarm off when you leave the shop) than listen to either.

Because its clearly been recorded for that purpose, cutting down on studio time for both of them!

All Shania songs are boring, predictable and repetitive as soon as I hear her on TV or radio its switched off right away.

Its a marketing ploy, not a money saving idea.

Chris.
