Only sections of railway still shut following the flooding are Barnsley-Wakefield and York-Harrogate. Both are expected to re-open tomorrow morning.

A journey Doncaster-Meadowhall-Chapeltown should be OK.

The trains are running normailly between doncaster and sheffield, but rotherham central will be closed for some time yet, due to the water being that high, and the flooding that bad, it as messed up all the electrics and the tracks have gone rusty, a lot of work to do yet before this small local branch can be used again, allthough the fast branch (rotherham masborough) is still in operation.
