hi there just wondered if anyone else watches bodies i think its great

Yeah, I watched it last night for the first time. It was very good, and working in a hospital I have to say quite realistic!

Me and the hubby are hooked and have been watching from the beginning - saw the first episode on BBC2 and then flicked straight over to BBC3 for another dose!

It really is very good and prompted me to go out and buy the book, which I read in two sittings. It won't spoil the series for me, as they are quite different despite being written by the same person. I think it was definitely made a bit more graphic for TV, although I am surprised at the BBC showing extreme close-ups of a baby's head being forced back UP the poor mother's vagina in last night's episode!

Have to agree Angel, was abit on the graphic side! Does the book have the same name as the series? And who is it by?

Yes, the book is the same title "Bodies" and it's by Jed Mercurio. I got it from Waterstones in Meadowhall, but if you can wait a couple of days, it's a bit cheaper on Amazon.co.uk and you can also use the Sheffield Forum referral to earn a bit of cash for the site.

Looked very rubbery to me, would have been interesting for the special effects people !

i think its very real looking,i know its not but that dont stop me having to look away
