I need a little help here in Grenoside woods near Outibridge theres the entrace to a old Mine just down from a little waterfall I can't find it on any maps. Does anyone have any information on this place.

On the Ordnance Survey Pathfinder726 Map (SK 29/39)
the mine is marked at 31.2, 94.3
(Im not quite sure which way round the x and y axis is )but its shown just north of Oughtibridge Hagg.

If you can get your hands on a copy of:

A Laymans Look at the History, Industry, People and Places of Oughtibridge, Worrall and Wharncliffe Side, a local library should have this, theres a couple of pages about mining in the area in this. Hope this helps.
